Best Tips for Crushing your 2022 Goals

We all have dreams and aspirations for our lives. However one thing that sets people  apart is that some people allow their dreams to stay just that, dreams, while others take actionable steps to ensure that those dreams become a reality. Which one of these people are you?

We all start the year writing down our goals and creating our vision boards for the year. I recently hosted a Vision Board Party and the people that attended have so many amazing goals for the year. While it’s great to have goals, we must ensure that we take actionable steps to achieve these goals. So how does one ensure they achieve their goals?

  1. Set a deadline: It is often said that a goal without a deadline is just a dream. It’s great to make goals but if you don’t have a set deadline by which you want to achieve your goal you will not push yourself enough to ensure that it happens before a certain time. Instead of just setting goals, ensure that there are definite deadlines for each goal.
  2. Set smaller goals: We can have big goals but in order to achieve those big goals we need to create smaller goals along the way. When you set a goal, it’s important to ask yourself how you plan on achieving that goal. What realistic baby steps do you need to take to reach that goal?
  3. Accountability: Another key component that sets people  apart who achieve their goals vs the ones who don’t is accountability. If you lack accountability, you will be able to let the dream die without anyone encouraging you to keep going. Find someone to hold you accountable to the goal and help you along those small steps along the way to achieve the goal.

These are just 3 ways you can ensure that you achieve your goals. For more tips on goal setting, download my goal setting guide here.
